Chris was brought up in a very musical household. Folk music influences came from his mother, blues and jazz from his father, hip-hop from his brother, electronic from his older sister, and punk/ska from his younger sister. However, his favorite has always been the blues! In fact, his first guitar lessons included 12-bar blues jams with his father.

Welcome to Crown Entertainment- home of singer/songwriter Chris Crown. Crown is an acoustic
blues artist based in Alpena, MI. Chris Crown recently returned to his hometown after 9 years of living and performing in the Western Michigan area. Chris Crown performs both as a solo acoustic artist, as a duo with Lee Kitzman on harmonica, and with his 5-piece group, "The Get Down Band."
Check out Chris's non-profit organization, "The Alpena Street Performers," every Friday evening from 6-8 in downtown Alpena.

From Michigan’s northern lower peninsula, the Charlie Millard Band has developed a unique sound, voice and thought-provoking lyrics/poetry of their own.

Always playing lots of festivals and venues across the States and Canada, with percussionist Will Harris, Jercat Millard on guitars, and Charlie on the keys/organ/Rhodes bass, they strive to give you a musical experience, like small movies for the ears.

Born in Warren, MI to a musical family, Joshua Steven Ford was the eldest son of parents who were both preachers.
As a youngster, Ford showed interest in the guitar and by the age of 19 he was earning a living as a full-time musician. HIs earliest heroes included legendary artists such as Howlin’ Wolf, Albert Collins, and Taj Mahal - all of whose influences still ring in the echoes of Ford’s best work.
An accomplished songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and renowned slide guitarist, Motor City Josh spent over 15 years (2000 - 2015) touring relentlessly throughout the 48 contiguous states. He and his bandmates have logged hundreds of thousands of miles riding up and down the highways and byways of America. In the process, they amassed a loyal following throughout the south and all along the East Coast - traveling from Key West, FL to Rockland, ME.

From her trademark fedora and hand fan to her marvelous mix of Blues, Rock,Funk and R&B, multiple award winning Detroit born and raised singer Tosha Owens has the word ‘performer’ written all over her. While most singers struggle to create a unique Brand Identity for themselves, there’s no doubting what Tosha is all about and why audiences are always asking for more. Often compared to artists such as Gladys Knight, Etta James, Chaka Khan and Janis Joplin, Tosha delivers a unique sound and performance that no other Detroit singer can provide. “She’s gritty”. “She’s bluesy”. “She’s funky”. “She rocks”.
